A Family Film Matinee Screening of
THE WIZARD OF OZ
Friends of the Pomona Fox, in association with the Pomona Fox Theater, is pleased to announce the first film program at the Pomona Fox Theater. We will be screening the classic 1939 film, It is a community event that creates a opportunity to visit the fully-restored theater. Come early and in addition to the screening, visitors will be able to take a tour of the theater lead by our own volunteer docents.
Doors open at 12:30 pm
Film screens at 2:00 pm

Friends of the Pomona Fox would like to thank everyone who made it to the screening (didn't see you Scrip). Over 700 Pomonans showed up fro the Oz screening, with the majority of them also taking the tour of the facility. They got to see the projection booth, rooftops, greenroom, and backstage areas.
ReplyDeleteProbably the only hitch in the day was that our rented Popcorn machine had a hard time keeping up with the demand. We're working on it for the next time.
We're hoping to be able to do similar programs about once a month beginning in May.
