Yes, this Saturday is the offical 2nd Saturday ArtWalk of Downtown Pomona. What better way to fill your day than to attend the awesome 'Carmen' opera brought to you by the ROC. It begins at 2pm and the ArtWalk kicks off at 6pm. Talk about a fun filled day!
"Carmen is our most well known and most popular opera, bringing gypsies, smugglers, soldiers, forbidden love and pure love together. It is a clash of cultures where duty and freedom collide and in the end it is the love that Carmen wildly pursued that is her undoing as Don Jose would rather kill her than see her with another man. This opera is filled with tunes we know and love including the Habanera, the Toreador song."
